Las Vegas manager and label owner Kyle Treadwell has taken the music industry by storm
through his ability to provide indie artists with many of the same services and opportunities as a
major label without breaking the bank.
Tell us a little bit about you, what is your business?
I am the owner of NovaWave Records LLC, manager of Corey Ellis and the head of Playlisting at
Indie Amplify.
Who have you used as inspiration in building your business?
Honestly my mother has been my biggest inspiration because she allowed me to follow my
dreams and always encouraged me to go for them all.
What are you currently working on? What is the next step in your business’s growth?
We are launching a Distro company by the name of SuperNova that will be completely different
than Tunecore, Distrokid, CD Baby and more. We have promotional opportunities for artists, as
well as full integration of our Playlisting platform.
If you could collab with anyone else who would it be and why?
Shep Gordon he is one of the greatest music managers of all time and I’d love to work with him
on a project.
What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself if you were just starting your journey?
Don’t work for anyone else and just believe in yourself and know that you can do any of this
without the help of anyone else.
