From the moment doors opened this concert changed the atmosphere in Las Vegas surrounding performances by well known artists. Promised to be the first of many shows, It’s Fire Entertainment and Ikon Presents created a haven for all ages to come together and enjoy a level of musical talent that is usually reserved for the mega clubs on the strip, and limited to those 21 and up. This Rod Wave show is truly one that we will never forget, and hopefully will begin a new wave of entertainment focused on providing a safe space for our youth to enjoy the artists they love.
Over 6,500 fans attended the show that proudly boasted no fights or major incidences. Overwhelmingly the show ran smoothly proving that Las Vegas can play host to all ages Hip-Hop and R&B shows that many have fought against in the past.

While the safety of the concert was something to be proud of the atmosphere was even better. The DJs for the night (Sin City Thrilla, Patrick Cornett, DJ Kiloo, and DJ Kay N M) had the the crowd primed and ready for live performances by Teddy Crooklyn, Prince Taee, and Rod Wave himself. The crowd loved every minute with overwhelmingly positive reviews online and a deafening roar as the crowd sang along with every song.

After the show ended we had the chance to ask organizer DJ Kay N M what was next for the It’s Fire team. He promised that “this is just the beginning” for the group. He also said that “when [he] was a kid there was nothing for him and his friends to do in the city at this level.” His team is here to change that as he said “now that we are older it is our responsibility to provide the opportunities to the youth that we didn’t have… being able to bring all ages together in an environment where everyone can be safe and have fun is a dream of mine. We are finally able to make that happen and we aren’t going to stop anytime soon.”
