Atlanta native Future and Philadelphia’s own Lil Uzi Vert have dropped a self titled collab album “Pluto x Baby Pluto”.
Both artists are very successful solo artists, each having multiple hits and plaques. Together they wanted to bless their fans’ ears with this 16 track heavy hitting piece of art.
The production on this project is immaculate as each track is very appealing to the ear the sound and beats couldn’t be any better. Each artist has one solo song on the project, with all of the other tracks only containing these two artists.
Track 10 “Rockstar Chains” is Future’s solo song and track 11 “Lullaby” is Lil Uzi Vert’s. My personal favorite tracks off the album is definitely track 4 “Real Baby Pluto” and track 8 “That’s It”, which is followed up by a great video directed by Hype Williams.
Overall I give “Pluto X Baby Pluto” a smooth 8.5 out of 10. Although I did enjoy the album, I will say my expectations were a little bit higher coming into it. For me the melodies were pretty on point but I do feel the beats carried on some tracks. Also, I feel it lacked that wow factor for me personally, but all in all it was a great project. With that said the album is still gas in my opinion and you should check it out!
